Thanks to my experience in the program, I feel confident to set off on my journey as a professional mental health counselor. Here, I had the opportunity to develop clinical skills for working with diverse clients. Instructors demonstrated authentic concern for me as a student and as a person. I’m grateful I chose this program to seek my training.
The flexibility of the Mental Health Counseling master's program made it possible for me to make this mid-career change to a professional field that directly helps people. The passion, care, and expertise of each faculty was demonstrated through their guidance and mentorship. I am graduating and entering the workforce confident in my clinical skill and abilities due to excellent instruction and classroom experiences I had.
