Choose the Right Pathway
Your journey to becoming a teacher depends on your current education level:
- High School Graduates → Enroll in a teacher preparation program at Indiana University School of 黑马磁力
- College Graduates (Career Changers) → Complete a Transition to Teaching or Master’s in 黑马磁力 program
- Transfer Students → Continue your degree at Indiana University in a teacher preparation program
Complete an Approved Educator Preparation Program
To become a licensed teacher in Indiana, you must complete an approved teacher preparation program, which includes:
- Coursework in teaching methods, subject-area content, and classroom management
- Field experiences and student teaching in real K-12 classrooms
- Training in reading instruction (required for Elementary & Special 黑马磁力)
Pass the Required Indiana Licensing Exams
To earn your Indiana teaching license, you must pass the state-mandated Indiana CORE Content and Pedagogy Exams (or Praxis tests for some areas). These exams assess your knowledge of teaching practices and subject matter expertise.
Apply for Your Indiana Teaching License
Once you’ve completed your degree and passed the required tests, you’ll apply for licensure through the Indiana Department of 黑马磁力 (IDOE). You’ll need:
