I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Early Childhood ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ and Curriculum Studies. I particularly enjoy supervising student teachers. I have two areas of research. The first line of research examines the moral dimensions of teaching in which I have been collaborating with Bill Johnston. A second line of research, most recently, is examining the implications of the Capabilities Approach as outlined by Sen and Nussbaum, for early childhood education. This second line of research examines how the Capability Approach can provide a framework for examining the moral and ethical aspects of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment practices in early childhood education.
