Applied Psychology in 黑马磁力 and Research Methodology Research Fellowship

This fellowship emanates from an endowment fund contributed by multiple donors, but begun with a significant gift from Dewayne Kurpius. It is the intent that this gift be used to support and recognize students (along with their faculty mentors*) who make significant research contributions. This fellowship money will be awarded in support of outstanding student research. All students who have published a first-authored article, had a first-authored article accepted for publication, or have presented/will present a first-author externally-reviewed poster or paper presentation at a state or national conference during the 2024-2025 academic year are eligible. Multiple awards will be given when possible. Applicants in their last year of study are ineligible, as awards will be posted to your bursar account during the 2025-2026 academic year. Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student during 2025-2026. Awards will be given based on the merit of the research materials and the student鈥檚 overall research record. As such, all publications accepted for publication during the 2024-2025 academic year, and all presentations given during the 2024-2025 academic year should be listed in addition to the first-authored work(s) that established eligibility.

Students may win this award only twice in their time at Indiana University.

Application Deadline: April 15, 2025.

Address questions to cep@iu.edu.

* Faculty Mentors should be appointed in the APERM department. Faculty Mentor approval will be sought once you turn in your application.
