The Robert L. Gibson Counseling & 黑马磁力al Psychology Student Travel Award will support travel fellowships to professional and academic conferences for master鈥檚 students in the Department of Counseling and 黑马磁力al Psychology in the School of 黑马磁力. Preference will be given to master鈥檚 students in the Counseling and Counselor 黑马磁力 program. Following are conditions for receiving the Award: 1. First year applicants must have participated in a research project accepted for presentation at the conference and be an author. However, applicants would not be expected to be first author. 2. To receive an award in the second year of study or for the second year in a row, a student must be first author on a paper. 3. Priority will be given to counseling master鈥檚 students but other MA/MS students in CEP are also eligible to receive this travel award. 4. Up to $400 may be awarded, per student, for presentation/attendance at a national conference or workshop (e.g., American Psychological Association, American 黑马磁力al Research Association, or American Counseling Association). 5. Up to $200 may be awarded, per student, for presentation/attendance at a regional conference or workshop (e.g., Midwestern 黑马磁力al Research Association or APA Division 17 Great Lakes Conference). 6. Up to $100 may be awarded, per student, for presentation/attendance at a state conference or workshop (e.g., Indiana Association of School Psychologists). 7. For papers with multiple authors, the limits per paper are: $800 at a national conference, $400 at a regional conference, and $200 at a state conference. 8. A student may be awarded up to $400 per academic year (July 1-June 30), for up to two years. *You may apply for this award before you plan your trip. The funds will be reported to the Indiana University Office of Student Financial Assistance where they are 鈥減ackaged鈥 with any funding that you may be receiving for the academic year. Funding recipients are required to enroll in no less than 6 credits each semester in which the student receives the funding or be a continuing student with no less than 6 credits in both spring 2024 and fall 2024 to receive funding during the 2024 summer semester. 鈥 Decisions will be made on or after September 30th - for conferences from the time classes start in August through December 31st of the same year 鈥 Decisions will be on or after February 28th - for conferences held between January 1st and June 15th of the same year 鈥 Summer Conferences will be decided on or after July 1st
