School of ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ OAB Student Travel Application

Limited travel funds will be available for students in the School of ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦.

Preference will be given to applicants who:
• Are conducting research aligned with the advocacy and belonging aims of the Indiana University School of ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦
• Will be presenting at a regional, national, or international professional conference
• Have not received A&B travel funds in the past
• Do not have funding from other sources

Accepted applicants will be asked to present on their accepted conference presentation topic for the School of ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ through a A&B Workshop or Professional Development session that will be open to students, staff, and faculty. Upon successful completion of the on-campus presentation, accepted applicants will be guaranteed the award through reimbursement of travel upon return from the conference.

Students may submit a request for ONE (1) trip only.
• Due 30 September – for conferences held between the first day of fall semester classes and 31 December of the same year
• Due 28 February – for conferences held between 1 January and 15 June of the same year
• Due 1 July – for conferences held between 16 June and the beginning of fall semester classes of the same year

*Travel awards are limited to available funding. The department will make every effort to fund all who apply, however, applying for a travel award does not guarantee you will receive an award. If you are receiving other funding from IU for this trip, please coordinate with our office and the other office to process the travel reimbursements together. Award cannot be used to pay for professional membership fees. Processing of any travel reimbursements must be completed within 60 days from the return date of the trip or the reimbursement will be taxed. After 120 days from the return date, the trip will not be eligible for any reimbursement.
